we are trying to create wheel of fortune on alice and we have a problem with our wheel. we try to turn roll and move our wheel but with no progress. so is there a way in which we can have the wheel spin in place.

I am trying to import alice world into netbeans and i have some problems

I have installed the opengl package and still doesn’t work

when click create new project, I don’t see an option with “Java project with existing Alice project”

what do i need to do for it to work right??

di riguardo o con ateencion io giacomo dilettante di computers .
ho due computer , tenuti bene .che in quasi il primo 2° anni e il 2° in uno di anno un bel tot di€ ho per loro speso .
e’ il grande sistema di advaced tecnologico comunicazione per il diario i conti l’email e ancora fax….
chi e’ che vuole di piu’.
basta come darsi uno stop davanti a uno stop.
io con il computer no non sto in nessun caso male ma bene ok ? yes okay .

I’ve used Logo, Scratch, Squeak, Alice, ToonTalk, Python, and (now) Blender 3D as programming languages in classes that I’ve taught to K-8 kids over the last 20 years. Each has its advantages and disadvantages. However, what’s interesting is that as kids become more sophisticated in their use of computers, they pick up on the more complex languages quickly. I’m teaching Alice to 2dn and 3rd graders and, once they learn the concepts, they can do lots of interesting things with it. I’m using college-level material for these kids with no particular difficulty. I think this attests to the flexibility and thought that has been programmed into Alice. I think I’ll be using Alice for some time to come.
Thanks to the team who has, and continues to, develop(ed) this amazing and insightful programming tool.

I think that accepting and encouraging external contributions could help you tremendously and speed up progress considerably. Releasing your code under an open-source license is useless if you don’t take advantage of the power of the community.
