One thing I missed in the video, was if NetBeans is running on a shared machine the plugins need to be installed into a shared directory.
I installed in a lab and had to deinstall the plugins and put them in again to allow other people to use them.
To install the plugins so others can use them:
After you start the Plugins manager in NetBeans:
You need to click the Settings tab and check a little box for “Force install into shared directories” before you do anything else. Then you can install the downloaded plugins as described in the video.
This not necessary if others do not use your machine.
Can you make your javaExample.a3p file available? Just so we can verify things are working correctly?
